What's On
Lent: Psalms
Lent begins on Wednesday 18th February. Lent is the 40 days (not including Sundays) in the lead up to Easter. In the Bible the number 40 is present in the 40 days of the floor (Genesis - Noah), the Israelites were in the wilderness for 40 years, Moses was on Mount Sinai for 40 days and Jesus fasted for 40 days.
Lent is a time of dependence, deliverance and depth. It is a time of reflection and preparation, as we remember the cross - the foundation of our faith.
This Lent season, we are joining the Bible Society’s devotionals of the Psalms. They have a devotional for each day, including a short audio.
Alpha
The Alpha course is a safe, open space where you can ask any questions you like about Jesus or Christianity. Whether you are Christian, not a Christian or not spiritual at all, this course is open to you!
Starting on Sunday 15th February from 2:30pm :)
Crews
Crews are our mid-week small groups, where we meet to break down the word of God!
We take delight in fellowship with one another, we encourage discipleship with Jesus and empower people to have an impact in their own world and their city with the truth of the Gospel - just as the early Church did (see Acts 2:42-47).
Crews is on Wednesdays at 6:30pm, sign up below :)
Wonder Social
For International Women’s Day, we are gathering together for a Wonder women’s social :)
We will be enjoying some desserts at Heavenly Desserts, and getting to know other Christian women in our community
